What Are RHS and SHS Hollow Sections?
SHS stands for square hollow section and RHS for rectangular hollow section. Our rectangular and square hollow sections are designed for a high strength to weight ratio, which makes them suitable for modern construction, automotive structures and machinery fabrication. We also galvanize hollow sections in our own hot-dip lines.

How We Make Hollow Sections
Hollow sections are formed on our ERW tube mills. The steel coil is slit into strips, roll formed, and the seam is fused by high-frequency electric resistance welding, followed by sizing and straightening. Our plant has 9 tube mills with CNC-controlled forming rolls and online dimensional monitoring. Coils and HR sheets are sourced from certified suppliers to IS 2062, IS 10748 and IS 13229.

Testing and Documentation
Testing is done in our own laboratory, including hydrostatic, tensile and yield strength, flattening and bend tests, and spectrometer-based chemical analysis.
