The first venture of group was Jindal India Ltd to manufacture MS ERW and Black Galvanised Steel Pipes/Tubes. Later on, Jindal Industries Ltd was setup in 1964 in Hisar with indigenously designed pipe manufacturing with Galvanising technology. The group always had the conviction that India should be self-reliant in every sector of industry and started acquiring latest industrial technical development and know-how from foreign countries. At present, there are various companies under the flagship of the Jindal Organization, with revenues exceeding 10 BN USD.
